Facebook-powered search results in Bing!
No-doubt that most companies try to get the power of Google added social sitelinks in search results. Bing added links to mutual friends, partnered with Facebook, and even tried to buy it! Recently, Bing started to show 'liked' items by your friends in Bing search results! In other words, now Bing show results both picked by Bing and your friends. Let's say you searched for "San Francisco hotels" in Bing search, you will see both results from Bing search itself, and results from Facebook stream. You must be logged in to Facebook to see the results. What does this mean ? Bing now deliver really dynamic search results. Results may different from Mike to John! It's true that Google, Yahoo and Bing deliver different results for each user, depending on past activity, bookmarked content, etc. But this is a big change. Bing uses most of Facebook's data in Bing search! Bing is not the only love of Facebook. Facebook now opened their treasure of people's information to Both Google and Bing. Google now use Facebook stream to generate real-time results, order results, etc. But Bing is the only place to discover what your friends 'liked'!
